Muscoot features 5.7 miles of marked trails, but since a pair
of
classic Jonboy caches were archived two years ago there have
been
no hides to tempt cachers to the more distant precincts of
the
park. We hope this cache, and its companion, Muscoot
Keltainen,
will give geohunters incentive to explore the park's
extensive
trail network.
There are several possible routings, but the route we took
to
place the two caches was a 3-mile loop beginning and ending at
the
main parking lot. If you have trouble figuring out which trail
to
take, bring the cache name to your neighborhood pizza parlor or
trattoria.
Congrats to Team Bacmac for the FTF. And they actually did it in
daylight!
