Geocache Description:

I took my kids on this hike about 4yrs ago and when i started cacheing i vowed to hide one here. Its located off hwy 165 just past carbonado. go to te Fairfax Bridge (the really cool bridge high above the Carbonado River)W. Park at the folowing coords N47.02.594 W122.02.645. Then walk across the bridge to the trailhead. Dont forget to stop at the middle of the bridge to drop a rock, spit, or just take in an awesome view. Your final coords are about 1 mile from the trailhead.You'll hear the river on your right and natural springs on your left. head towards the mountain to the Y in the path. go to the left. Walk up the down stream. You'll see it on the left up a ways in a clearing. No need to knock.

1.BOOTS
2.NETTLE FRIENDLY CLOTHING
3.DEET
4.WATER
Later in the season when more hikers venture out the nettles wont be so bad. but today it was thick. Being in shorts didnt help either. I also need a favor. I left a logbook but forgot to put the name on it. could someone jot it down for me. Thanks
