Geocache Description:

A Quick Park and grab in a not too busy place. You are looking for a round Dragonfire gum tin, camoflaged.
This cache is in memory of my GPS which has been sent to Magellan Heaven
.

While placing this cache, the unthinkable happened. While glh was putting the log sheet in the cache, I fired up my brand new Magellan Meridian color (which I'd only had a couple of weeks, and used once or twice) and placed it on the roof of my SUV to get a lock. Unknown to me, glh did the same thing. Once the cache was in it's hiding place I grabbed my GPS to get the coordinates. Having done that, we got in the vehicle and left. A couple of miles down the road, I went to make sure my new Maggie was safely in it's case. To my horror, I discovered it was missing. glh had his, so we went back in search of it.Not at the cache, we drove slowly until we spotted something in the road.Sure enough, the Maggie was there. It had been run over by a car! We gathered up all the pieces we could find (See Picture) and went on to meet a friend in Lancaster to go caching. (I had actually picked up glh's GPS thinking it was mine and used it to get the coordinates). So there's the sad tale! Have Fun!!
