In order to celebrate the annual geocaching CITO, I have scheduled a CITO event for a place that I've thought needs such an event. We will meet at 10:00 am at the given coordinates, where there is plenty of parking. Please park so that everyone can get out.
I plan on bringing bags, you can bring some, just in case. You may want to bring gloves. The planned route is to go on the south side of the river to the bridge west of Wall Avenue, come back on the north side, cross the railroad tracks on the bridge then go clockwise around the pond. We will be staying near the trail, but get any trash that you see off of the trail. We will finish with more than enough time to make it to Puzzles, Puzzlers, & those who just can’t get it.
The trail is stroller and wheelchair friendly. The terrain rating is only for the hill over the tracks and the length of the route we are planning. However, we will be taking it at a leisurely pace.
UPDATE: The weather forecast for Saturday is for rain. From the one that I've seen it will be in the afternoon. However, we'll still do the CITO if it rains. We did it last year at CITO, WIGO & Let's Pull Some Weeds.
