Deliveryguy428: Went out to check on the status of the cache since I knew Palmetto Pride would be doing a lot of cleaning in and around the area along the river this weekend. I arrived, went down toward the river and noticed a "camp" of blanket and tents on a couple of the islands and shores right along the river. I did not think much of this and headed down toward the cache. Arrived at the cache and found it opended, contents laying all out around the cache and a tent no less then 5 ft from the cache....and they did not even bother to sign the log!!!!![:(!]
This cache has lasted 2 years in the same location and even survived the tree it was next to getting hit by lighting. I'm sad to see this cache go but the area itself up and down the river has been compromised due to campers that a safe location right now is not possible for this cache.
Thanks to all those who found this cache, and I am deeply sorry to those who might have been in the middle of working on the puzzles hoping to log this cache.
