The cache is located just off the South West Coast Path near Start Point in the South Hams.
Start point is a beautiful spot overlooking Start Bay with the remains of Hallsands village, part of which was swept into the sea in 1917. Further along the bay you can see Slapton Sands with Slapton Ley behind the stony beach and main road.
The cache is situated within 2 metres of this popular coast path (towards the land) so please be careful not to be spotted while retreiving the cache.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO ANYWHERE NEAR ANY CLIFFS OR STEEP DROPS TO LOCATE THIS CACHE.
Suggested parking is at N 50° 13.567 W 003° 39.271 which costs £3.50 between 9am and 5pm. At other times you may be lucky 
There is a nice circular walk from the suggested car park along the coast path to the cache. You can then continue along the path and take the next path on the right directly back to the car park. This is less than 2 miles but a bit uneven so not suitable for wheeled vehicles 
Please take care of geodogs and geokids as there are some steep drops not too far off the path. If you keep to the marked path and take notice of the signs it is quite safe.
