The Cache
Your looking for a camoed pill container with just a log.
OK, So sometimes you put out a cache just because.
I had been looking at this area on maps for some time. I tried
to get out here and scope out the area a few times but kept running
into obstacles, so I would give up. I knew I had found an area in
Wharton where there were no caches, so I put out OMG… IDK. Then I
just had to put another one out here. I really like the area, I
have seen all kinds of wildlife out here like; Beavers, Turkeys,
Deer, Hawks, Snakes and more.
Not nearly as difficult as the original, I think you‘ll like the
short hike to get this one. I am a newbie to Wharton, so there may
be other ways to get here that I am not aware of. I parked at about
.30 and hiked it in. There is very minimal bush-wacking but there
are other obstacles.
My coords kept bouncing, I did some testing and I hope I have
them pretty close. I would suggest you bring a friend when you
attempt this cache.
Please read the information I provide on the OMG… IDK
cache, the same information applies for this cache. You can park at
the same spot and have an easy hike to this one. I don‘t recommend
trying to drive to this one, but it‘s up to you.
FTF Kudos to Team GALAP, well done for getting
this and the Original
A note on Geo-Caching
etiquette:
When you find a cache you become a partner in
that caches ownership. You take on the same responsibility for the
hide of that cache as the original cache owner. It is your
responsibility to make sure that the cache is hidden as well or
better then when you found it. If you fail this responsibility then
you ruin the game for everyone else that comes after you. If you
don’t hide the cache when you’re done, you open the possibility
that some stranger will come along and see it and take it. Never
move a cache from it’s original hiding area, unless absolutely
necessary, and if you do have to move it, please take down the
coordinates and immediately notify the CO (cache owner) that you
have moved it and what the new coordinates are. Remember this game
is all about the numbers and if your moving caches then your not
being fair to others. One more thing please be careful of who is
watching you. It may be OK if outsiders see you looking around, but
don’t let them see you retrieve the cache. Always take a look
around before you actually pick up the cache, and then walk a short
distance from the hide before you open it up and sign the log. I
thank you in advance for keeping this cache fun and exciting for
all seekers.
I am very interested in your comments regarding
my hides. So please post your logs and give me feedback both
positive and negative. I am also very interested in the approach
you all take to get to the cache. Please send me an e-mail and let
me know how you got to GZ. Please don't post this in your log as
this will spoil the fun of this cache.
Most of all I hope you have fun.
