Um passeio pela costa e um desafio aos seus limites!...
Certamente quando decidir procurar esta cache irá certamente visitar a Arrifana e algumas cache circundantes. Não se arrependerá, uma vez que cada cache aqui é um pequeno tesouro que está ali escondido à espera de nos surpreender!:)
Esta cache pretende ser um desafio físico e psicológico, onde uma mistura de vertigens com um terreno acidentado o farão certamente pensar um pouco antes de avançar.
Venha de onde vier, o desafio final será encontrado quando se estiver a aproximar da cache e aí se aperceberá porque se chama esta cache Headland... veja aqui porquê! Seja responsável, e não tente fazer o que o owner faz!;)
Poderia este locar ser um Promontório ou uma Península..e ainda é, mas cada vez mais está perto de se tornar numa ilha. E enquanto esse dia não chega e existe a possibilidade de lá chegar pelos nossos próprios pés não hesite em fazê-lo.
E se o vai fazer faça-o ao final da tarde e veja o pôr do sol no local da cache. Não se vai arrepender!!:)
A walk along the coast and a challenge to your limits! ...
Certainly when you decide to seek this cache will certainly visit the cache and somesurrounding Arrifana. You will not regret, since each cache here is a little hidden treasure that is there waiting to surprise us:)
This cache is intended to be a physical and psychological challenge, where a mixture ofvertigo with the rough terrain will certainly think a bit before moving forward.
Wherever it comes from, the final challenge will be found when you are approaching the cache and then will realize why we call this cache Headland ... here's why! Be responsibleand do not try to do what the owner does!;)

Recomendações para procurar a cache
Existem duas abordagens possíveis ao local da cache, uma vindo do Vale da Telha ou de Este, e outra de Sul, vindo da Arrifana.
O que eu recomendo é vir de Sul, e começar por fazer a cache O Pescador e depois esta. Não se irá arrepender! Começe por ir ao local inicial da outra cache, estacionar no local recomendado e fazer o resto do precurso a pé. No regresso faça o caminho inverso.
Se tentar uma abordagem de Este, siga por Vale da Telha e siga depois por uma estrada de terra em direcção ao mar. Siga sempre pela esquerda, até ao ponto de estacionamento indicado. Atenção que este precurso só é recomendado para veículos TT! Nesta abordagem o terreno sobe mais uma meia estrela pois vai ter dificuldades acrescidas, para além que só o pode fazer na maré baixa. Tenha o horário das marés em conta se pensar ir por aqui.
Deixo ainda umas recomendações adicionais:
- Irá percorrer algumas dezenas de metros em cima de terrenos instáveis e que podem mover-se debaixo dos seus pés, onde uma queda são dezenas de metros e em direcção ao mar. Cuidado adicional com vento, chuva e frio.
- Não leve crianças, é extremamente perigoso e uma distracção pode ser fatal.
- Não procure a cache de noite.
- Conte com pelo menos 1.30h para procurar esta cache (ida e volta). Não corra, não tenha pressa. Desfrute, e vá com calma.
- Não vá sozinho. Se for, avise alguém para onde vai e quanto tempo estima demorar. Mantenha-se contactável.
Recommendations to search the cache
There are two possible approaches to the local cache, a tile from the Valley or east, and another south from Arrifana.
What I recommend is to come from the South, and start by making the cache O Pescador and then this. You will not regret! Start by going to the starting location of anothercache, parking areas and recommended to the rest of the precursor foot. In return do the opposite.
If you try an approach, go for Valley Tile and then follow a dirt road in the sea. Always followthe left, to the point of parking provided. Please note that this precursor is only recommended for vehicles TT! In this approach the ground up over half a star because you will have greater difficulties in addition to what can only be done at low tide. Have the timeof the tides into account when thinking about going here.
Still leave some additional recommendations:
- You will go over some tens of meters over unstable terrain, and that can move beneath your feet, where a fall are tens of meters and the sea. Additional care with wind, rain and cold.
- Do not bring children, it is extremely dangerous and a distraction can be fatal.
- Do not look for the cache at night.
- Count on at least 1.30h to find this cache (round trip). Do not run, do not rush. Enjoy, and take it easy.
- Do not go alone. If so, tell someone where and how long it will take estimates. Keep in touch.
A Cache
A cache encontra-se escondida num local virado para o mar, para Oeste, onde se pode sentar e contemplar a vista. Procure a cache calmamente, sente-te e aprecie a paisagem enquanto faz o log.
Tenha especial cuidado na procura da cache pois a mesma está muito perto do precipício e um desiquilíbrio ou uma escorregadela podem ser fatais!

Deixe-a exactamente como a encontrou, no mesmo local e bem tapada. Verifique que não está a ser observado enquanto retira e coloca a cache no sítio.
The Cache
The cache is hidden in a location facing the sea, to the west, where you can sit and admire the view.Look for the cache quietly sit and enjoy the scenery while taking the log.
Be especially careful in finding the cache because it is very close to the cliff and animbalance or a slip could be fatal!

This cache is a tupperware box of regular measures + / - 20x15x8cm.
Leave it exactly as found in the same place and well covered.Check that there is to be observed while removing the cache and put in place.

- Ao decidir procurar uma cache faça-o de acordo com o que é pedido pelo owner. Respeite a sua vontade e as suas recomendações, pois delas dependem a sua integridade e a da cache. Não destrua, não parta, não deixe mais que pegadas e não traga mais que fotografias.
- Leia bem o página da cache antes de começar a busca. Pondere bem os riscos, e se o nível de Dificuldade e Terreno está de acordo com os seus limites e objectivos. Não ponha em risco a sua vida e a a da cache, e se acha que não é para si não arrisque e passa à próxima. Nem todas as caches são para todos.
- Lembre-se que o Geocaching proporciona-nos aventuras e leva-nos a locais que de outra forma não iríamos conhecer e visitar, por isso quando for procurar uma cache vá com tempo, quer para conhecer bem o local, mas também para estar preparado para algum imprvisto que possa ocorrer.
- Tenha especial cuidado ao procurar o esconderijo da cache, certifique-se que não há ninguém por perto ou ninguém a ver. Caso haja seja o mais discreto possível. Não arrique caso tenha consciência que está a ser observado, e desista. Certamente terá uma nova oportunidade para lá voltar, e assim evita que a cache seja objecto de buscas indesejadas.
- Ao encontrar a cache faça sempre um registo escrito no logbook. Se necessário use frente e costas das folhas do mesmo, poupe papel.
- Tire fotos, muitas fotos, e não esqueça de as colocar no seu log online na página da cache.
- Quando fizer o log online faça-o de uma forma detalhada possível de modo a dar a conhecer a aventura que a visita ao local proporcionou. Se houver alguma sugestão ou recomendação a fazer ao owner aproveite e faça-o no log. Precisa de manutenção? O acesso foi dificultado? Mudaram a cache de sítio? Qualquer situação que lhe pareça anormal comunique, informe o owner, seja por log ou através de mensagem privada.
