Geocache Description:

Meet the Alaska Cache'N'Dash Team Over Dinner & Drinks
Tuesday, September 20th, 6:00 p.m. at Sourdough Mining Company
5200 Juneau St., off International Airport east of Old Seward Hwy.

Pacific Northwest cacher CENT5 was looking for a way to use his Alaska Airline comp tickets to bring a few folks along on a quick cache run to Alaska. He turned that idea into one of the game’s niftiest running events as a bevy of NW cachers vied for one of the coveted seats on a trip to the Last Frontier. See the six pages of event history on the Northwest forums at the Great Alaska Cache'N'Dash Forum Page. The team size grew to 9 individuals – CENT5, El Santo, globalgirl, GeoZuk, LindaLu, Lowrider71, Moun10Bike, Prying Pandora, and Reino. Here’s your chance to meet the talented and lucky team of folks (with a total nearly 7,000 finds between them) who’ll be caching their way across Southcentral Alaska for several concentrated days of geo-fun.

Local Alaska cachers are invited to join them for dinner at the Sourdough Mining Company on Tuesday, September 20th, at 6:00 p.m. in the private Creekside Room, overlooking lovely Campbell Creek. We’ll be dining Dutch treat and mingling with the ACD folks for what’s sure to be an interesting time of caching chatter and good chow. Following a special surprise or two, the ACD team will head out to tackle some of the town’s night caches. The room can seat as many as fifty – 12 seats are taken already – post your intention to attend and we’ll make sure there’s room at the table for you. Open to cachers of all ages and abilities – add an event icon to your page and have a great time too!

Even if we exceed fifty cachers and their supporters, come on out and we'll just "hot napkin" seats at the tables and rotate people through.

Note about logging more than one travel bug or geocoin...You can drop more than one travel bug and coin by holding down the shift key and clicking the left mouse button on each TB or coin on the pick list you wish to drop. That way you don't have to write a separate note for each item.
