perdix: Well, I suppose its a good thing nobody could make it, the weather was not playing along with outdoorsy activities, so instead we drove around in relative comfort exploring all the back roads. Outside temparature varied from 7 - 13 deg C.
We had a great weekend though - its our kind of weather!

Geocache Description:

Join us for the first ever event cache in the Eastern Cape.

Get to meet and greet the fellow cachers. All cachers welcome.

Event will be in the form of a good South African braai in the afternoon. Hogsback is a very beautiful and scenic part of our country, and said to be part of the inspiration for JJR Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings".

As a challenge, all who will attend is asked to place a cache on route to the event cache. Place this cache close to your hometown, for ease of maintenance, or in another part of the country if you can get another to maintain it!

Walking in the woods, one can certainly believe it.

Hogsback offers accomodation of various types and for various budgets.
