Geocache Description:

This year’s annual Earth Day Cache-In Trash-Out Event will be held on April 16th, at the Scott County Park in Eastern Iowa. This park is located approximately 9 miles north of Davenport and just East of Highway 61. Park Map
Camping is available info

We will gather at the Whispering Pines Shelter which can be located using the cache waypoint.
(Enter at the south entrance on 270th Street and take two right turns)

Schedule

9:00am – 10:00am     Meet and Greet
10:00am – 12:00pm   CITO
12:00pm – 1:00pm     Potluck
1:00pm - ?               Cache!

Meet and Greet
Coffee will be provided! You may bring your own mug if you wish.

We will provide details at the time of the event
indicating what areas need the most attention.

Potluck
To ensure we get a variety of foods, please bring an item based on the first letter of your last name. Plates and utensils will be provided. Please indicate if you plan on attending the potluck and how many people will be in your party.

Last name A-H: salad, fruit, and/or vegetables
Last name I-P: chips, pretzels, and/or snacks
Last name Q-Z: dessert

Drinks, Hotdogs and Maidrites will be provided.

There are several caches in and around the park. Even if you've found them before, this would be a great chance to give new cachers a few tips.
