Birthday Boy Traditional Cache

This is a "kid cache" because it has been chosen and placed by my son for his 8th birthday, in a park near our home. The location will be fairly obvious and the terrain is relatively flat, so this is perfect for a first timer or child to get started with. The location is in an open area within the park, so stealth is a must.
The cache box is a small plastic pelican box. Included in the original cache were: a travel bug, toy soldier, small bracelet, grim reaper figurine, a toy fly, and a dinosaur, in addition to the logbook and a writing stick. There is parking nearby, as well as bathrooms, water fountain and a picnic / BBQ area. There is a playground for little tikes and bigger kids, so bring the family and enjoy!
