Cache is a cammo'd film container.
The cache is NOT in the old rusted pipe that is near the GZ. Please
don't mess with it. It is a likely spot for snakes to call home.
It’s always fascinating to me to wonder why things like
this are up here. The rivets used on the metal are an indication of
how old it is, probably pre 1940. In more recent times a pipe this
size would have either been made as one whole piece or welded
together.
Always, when caching in this area bring plenty of water. It does
get hot out here. Also be watchful of poisonous things, plants and
reptiles!

October 24, 2009 by SoCal Diver (640 found) One of 15 finds during a 5.7 mile hike. Nice spot for a cache. It's a shame to see the houses going up nearby, though. I can understand why someone would like it here - lots of room - but as a hiker it takes you out of the moment. Oh well. Still a great trail with lots of amazing views. TFTC!

October 19, 2009 by Damocles25 (226 found) Nice 3.6 mile hike on a cool overcast afternoon. Saw rocks and a shot up car along the way. New favorite trail. TFTC
