Another year has gone by and we're storming up new and creative challenges for this year's race. But have no worries, there will still be farm animals, water hazards, dead carcasses, ropes, tree debris, and maybe some wood chips involved at some point in the course.
More details to follow, but there will probably be a potluck and live music in the afternoon.
Sit back and watch and/or entertain others with your efforts to complete a cacher's mini-amazing-race-course designed to be completed on foot, in the shortest time possible. Medals awarded for the fastest times in four categories.
Long Course -- One Person
Long Course-- Two Person
Short Course--Not as physically challenging as long course (but still designed to make you think)
Family--Long course; must have at least 1 kid under 14 years of age; no more than two adults related to the kid by blood, adoption, or otherwise reasonably responsible for the kid (siblings of the kid 14 and over not counted as adults)
Cache course and other temporary caches will open around 9 a.m."ish" to make sure there is time for everyone who wants to to "run the race" and to accomodate those that have plans that might interfere with a later start time on the course; staggered start on the amazing cache course. Hot dogs available all day.
Bring your favorite lawn chair/food/drink. Plenty of space if you want to camp over-night either Friday or Saturday. Fire pit burning with smore components provided.
Temporary Caches: In addition to those in the race courses, there will be temporary caches out to find at your leisure during the day. All by foot; all relatively close to the event center. Separate contest related to temps.
