A meal and get together at Buffet Island & The London Road Tavern
Sunday April 27th 2008 at 4pm
Our area is saturated with caches. There are over 25 caches within a 2 mile radius, and loads of series so you can knock up your numbers real quick round here! There will be a number of new caches set up ready for the day.
The main purpose of this event is to put a face to all the names we see so regularly in our area and of course to meet new people from far and wide!
Thought we would start the evening with a meal at Buffet Island, which is an amazing all you can buffet style Chinese restaurant, there is so much to choose from.
The Address is Liverpool Road, Newcastle under Lyme ST5 9HP. You really cant miss it as you come past the roundabout.
The price is £9.90 for adults and £7.90 for children under 10 years old.
At approx 6.30pm we will move on to the MAIN PART of the event which will take place at The London Road Tavern, London Road (A34) Newcastle under Lyme. Where a quiz will take place with a prize for the winning team!
Please could you confirm if you would like to join us and whether you will be coming to the meal, the pub or both asap or at the latest by Wednesday 16th April as I have to confirm numbers with the venues. Please let me know number of adults and number of children.
If you would like to join us at the restaurant I will require a £5 deposit per person, which can either be made by paypal or cheque. Details will be emailed to you when you have confirmed your attendance.
I have reserved a section of the restaurant, you will know where we are when you see the tables!!!
As far as I know this is 1 of the first in our area so I would love for as many of you to come as possible. This is my first bash and will be pulling in help from the rest of the ‘oo’ team and our caching buddies cannonedwards!

RESTAURANT PARKING: They are fairly strict with the parking around the local area. Please only park on either Buffet Island carpark or the big carpark opposite (Formula 1), but be careful when crossing the main road.
