Geocache Description:

To get credit for this find (and keep your find from being deleted) you must post a link to a bookmark list showing all the caches that meet the requirements.

The hike to the final is about 15 miles round trip and involves ~4000' ascent in the process. Plan water, food, and time accordingly.

The hike to the final is about 8.6 miles round trip and involves ~2300' ascent in the process. Plan water, food, and time accordingly.

CACHE REQUIREMENTS AND DESCRIPTION UPDATED AS OF 25 APRIL 2015

The distance and ascent have dropped considerably since the parking lot on Sierra Road has opened up. I have also changed the cache requirements. The date restriction on the finds has been removed.

**********************************************************************************

This cache is based on the original GC11E8N Well Rounded Cacher concept. My opinion is that the original should stay pristine, as is, given it set a standard. There has been much dispute of that in the local forums, so here is the alternative to all those that want something "easier".

To be able to claim a find on this cache, you will need to first find at least one cache of every difficulty/terrain combination (81 unique combinations). Any cache type qualifies, but as part of those finds, you'll need to have at least one of each of the cache types below. The different cache types DO count against the 81, so if you find a 2.5/2.5 multi-cache, it fulfills both requirements.

Earthcache - EarthCache
Event Cache - Event Cache
Letterbox Hybrid - Letterbox Hybrid
CITO Event - Cito Event
Multi Cache - Multi Cache
Traditional Cache - Traditional Cache
Unknown Cache - Unknown Cache
Virtual Cache - Virtual Cache
Webcam Cache - Webcam Cache

In other words, APE caches, MEGA events, Locationless caches, etc. can be used to fill the 81 combination requirement, but you still need to have at least one of each of the listed types somewhere in your grid.

Basic rules (to keep things easy):
- All finds prior to 04/06/2007 DO NOT count (posted date of original Fizzy Challenge).

- Finds (except the event and CITO types) must be on caches that were published at least one year before you found them. Example: You found the cache on 4/6/2007. The cache was placed on 4/5/2006. It qualifies as a find for this challenge as it was found on or after the gate date and it was placed one year or more before you found it.

- You must find at least one of each of the listed cache types: Earthcache; Event; Letterbox; CITO; Multi; Traditional; Unknown/Mystery; Virtual; Webcam. Other cache types may be used for filling the grid.

- Generally accepted rules, guidelines and conditions for logging a cache find apply. These must be caches listed on Geocaching.com that you have personally (physically) found and logged.

- Logging finds on caches you own do not qualify.

- If you have others with you when you find the final cache, only those who have fulfilled ALL criteria for this cache will be allowed to log it as a find. Others may sign the log and post a note, but cannot change that to a find until they meet the criteria.

- Finds without the proper back-up documentation will be deleted.

- Cache owner is the final arbitrator of any decisions on eligibility and qualifications.

- You can log a note to provide status, but please limit this to one note per person. Update the original note as needed.

- Commentary should be directed to the forums (either www.TheGBA.net or the GC forums), not to the logs here please. Commentary type logs will be deleted.

- This cache does not count as the 5/5 in the matrix. You must find a 5/5 before this one. However, if you qualify and have logged a find for one of the other Fizzy Challenge caches that is a 5/5, that cache does count toward this one.
Please keep to these simple rules to keep things fun for everybody. Smiley
