I know how everyone liked hiking these hills so I made the old cache into a new one.
The park allows camping and public hunting, wear bright colors during the season. There are restrooms, and a pump drinking fountain above the camp ground, near the swings.
Some of the "trails" come close to the river and cliff, watch your step so you don't fall off/in. The cache is in a high area to avoid flooding. The park is down 27th Avenue, which comes off 61st Street Lane.
Caution: This cache is in or near a public hunting are. Please use extra care if you choose to go geocaching during open hunting season. Iowa's popular shotgun deer seasons are ususally the first 3 or so weeks of Decemeber, but the specific dates vary from year to year. Currently you can see season dates in a pdf at LINK
