The stash (Accuracy 20 m Elevation 130 m) is hidden in a 3.3 litre rectangular translucent plastic container within native bush, about 15 m south of the parking area (S 41°16.127' E 173°59.758' Elevation 139 m). See the hints for more detail.
To get there from the Picton Ferry Terminal car park (S 41°17.238' E 174°00.329' Elevation 2 m), head south for about 400 m on State Highway 1 and then turn west at the Queen Charlotte Drive turnoff (S 41°17.437' E 174°00.347' Elevation 6 m). After another 300 m take the north-west exit of the roundabout (S 41°17.438' E 174°00.015' Elevation 2 m) and continue up the winding road for about 4.5 km, you will find a large turning area on the right (S 41°15.997' E 173°59.873' Elevation 150 m). Now, turn back and continue downhill for about 400 m to the parking area. On the way, you might like to stop at the lookout for a great view of Picton, Queen Charlotte Sound, and the ferry (S 41°17.026' E 174°00.199' Elevation 39 m), see the photo below.
