Geocache Description:

My band and I released the tune 867-5309 in 1981 on the album Tommy Tutone-2. It reached #4 on the Top 40 music chart in 1982 and was on the chart for 40 weeks. Perhaps you heard it a time or two. The first part of it goes like this:

Well I found out that Jenny has changed her number, even though I still need to make her mine.

I met someone that knows her, and she told me that Jenny may have left her new number near a pay phone. That makes sense to me since I got her original number off of a wall.

After years of careful deductive work, and many miles in the fabulous Tutone ‘vette, I’ve managed to narrow down the pay phone possibilities to these eight:

I keep calling them, but I usually can’t get anyone to answer. Or if they do answer, they don’t see Jenny’s number nearby. I’ve gone through 3 sets of tires on the ‘vette, and the long distance charges are really adding up. If you could help me out I would really appreciate it. There’s even a little cache in it for you if you are successful. I'll let you take a spin in the 'vette, too.

Thanks, I owe you one!

Tommy
