Geocache Description:

This is the fifth in a series of six caches that can be visited even during the rainy season and even the youngest cachers will enjoy. Each cache includes two parts, a cache and a clue or clues. The clues can be found on the playground or in the immediate vicinity. The cache will be at the coordinates listed above and be within walking distance of the playground. Once you have collected the clues from the six caches, you will be ready to tackle Playground Madness - The Finale!

The cache:

This cache is located in a park with two separate street entrances and three playground areas. The cache is almost in the middle of a triangle made by the playgrounds.

The original contents of the container were:

  • Keychain tape measure
  • Tic remover kit from the Two Two Two event in Sunol
  • A pair of dice
  • Toy movie camera
  • Squishy ball
  • AA batteries
  • Two pencils
  • Bike reflectors
  • A cow
  • Bouncy ball

The playground:

There are three separate playground areas at this park. The oldest playground has a unique cement slide built into the hill. In addition the the playground areas, there are baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a creek with small waterfalls, trails to hike and mountain bike. There is also a duck pond within the park.

The clues:

L. There are three parking lots for this park, how many handicapped parking spaces are there altogether? (One parking lot is on the South side of the park. The other two are connected to each other by a short driveway and are on the North side of the park)

M. When was Hidden Lakes Park dedicated?

A special thanks to ‘Mom and I.’ for creating the Playground Madness Series in 2002. Due to time constraints, the series has recently been adopted by ‘HanSohn’.
