Cache Logs

September 25 by busdriver10 (145 found) Found whild camping in park. Nice little park. Was a pretty day. Came in from the wrong side, had to cross logs. Lot of bugs ugh!! SL TFTC [view this log]

September 25 by wv fireboss (158 found) Found while camping in park, came in on wrong side of creek but an old log made a pretty good bridge over to the cache. cache was laying out in the open and has some pretty good bite marks on it. T- radio L- amer flag pin. Replaced cache in hiding place. TFTH SL [view this log] Beavers have been busy in this area. Trailhead starts here, nice easy walking. Moncove Lake

July 27 by jldsc (52 found) Man, this spot was a SWAMP with all the rain lately. I could not find any dry approach that does not go through the dense pine brush. While I was signing the log, 2 flights of F15s came over at ridge top altitude screaming through steep banking curves. Awesome!!! My wife thought I was nuts busting through the brush ... I loved it. January 25 by LeslieJon (202 found) Found with BoTuck eventhough my GPS said it was much closer to the trail than it was. The beaver are really busy in the area. The creek is getting deeper and the forest more open. (But, not the way, I came to the cache! Go around the thick stand of pine saplings.) We had a good hike on two loop trails up and down the mountains. TFTC [view this log]

We were with our friends, LeslieJon and we really getting out into the trails after all the cold weather we have had. We had a good hike and we were on the right side of the creek! Took TB Atomic and left an Iowa Geocoin that wants to travel. TFTC----a good hide. [view this log]
