This cache was placed in honour of confluence seekers who took on an unplanned 20km hike to S33 E137 starting at 1600 on 06/04/04 near this point.

They tell of their adventures on this page of the Degree Confluence Project website – it’s worth a look.

At the time of placement the locks which were the cause of their hike were still there.

11 June 2009 - replaced cache box with ammo can plus sistema liner.
