This is our first multi-cache located at a nice park with an
awesome view of the harbor in Portland, Maine.
This park can be accessed from York Street by car or on foot as
part of the Harborwalk trail, one of the many great trails in the
Portland Trails system. Go to www.trails.org for more info. The
coordinates should take you to "This Tree." Add 55 to the date on
the plaque to get 43 38.8xx. Subtract 365 from the last three
digits of the year to get 070 15.yyy.A short walk should take you
to the new location.The cache is somewhat larger than a micro
cache, but not much room for too many items. It is a black tube
with geocaching stickers on it. The original contents are a log
book, pencil, and sharpener, butterfly stickers, toy ring, plastic
alligator, and pokemon backpack tag. Enjoy!
