Experience
the Santa Cruz City Museum of Natural History and the
surrounding park. There is free parking for those that go into
the museum. Parking here can be a challenge on summer weekends
due to the nearby beaches.
The museum usually has a lot of cool exhibits. including an
interesting touch tank.
The surrounding park lands are well landscaped and maintained.
There is a whale climbing structure in the front and an odd
sculpture of a man/bear (Beorn?) in the back.
There is also a very large sandbox for the little ones to play
in while you sit on the encircling benches and think about where
the micro cache is.
Cache is a small candy tin (slightly smaller than an altoid
container) and has a log sheet but no pen or pencil. Some stealth
may be required if the park is busy with kids so bring those
invisibility cloaks those that have them!
Enjoy! And happy caching!
