A pleasant stroll through the woods. Just leave your car behind and follow the trail.
Parking is available at N 41 43.793, W 091 33.357. Take Dubuque Street north out of Iowa City and turn right at the Squire Point hiking trail sign. Go down the road to the parking location. This is the end of the road for you, but not the "End of the Road".
Trail is open until 10:00pm. This was a no hunting area in the past, but bow hunting will be allowed this year beginning 10/1/04. The cache is a .30 ammo container. Please be aware of nearby hikers. Some care needs to be taken when retrieving and replacing the cache.
