Geocache Description:

Park in the small lot by the Indian Head River at the Hanover/Hanson Town line, near Myettes Country Store. Cross the bridge and enter in Hanson. Parking N42 05.755 W070 50.949.

This is Town of Hanson Conservation Land, the coordinates to part 1 are N42 05.635 W070 50.676.

A chain link fence has been erected over the old trail, a new trail has been made around it.

Look for the Hemlock tree. If you cross the stone cow bridge you have gone too far, turn around. The coordinates for part 2 are in a small white container.

When you reach the Dwelly Stone make sure you climb on top of it and read the inscription. Cache is only 30 feet away.

This area is a prime example of how off road vehicles can destroy the forest. Someone has been busy with a hatchet and many trees have been destroyed - this is conservation property!
