A picnic at Atascadero's lovely Lake Park to chat, discuss Geocaching in SLO and SB Counties and maybe, just maybe, we can come up with a name for this group.
Drive to Atascadero, get on Highway 41 West and go past Portola Road and turn left into parking lot about 1/2 block after Portola. (Follow signs to Zoo)
(Zoo hours are 10AM to 5 PM.)
Rikki & I will be providing BBQ chicken and hotdogs (Paid for by Action Fax & Printer Service) but would appreciate a $5 donation to cover some of the costs of reserving the park site and some of the prizes/gifts to be awarded.
We would appreciate any help you can provide. Kid's caches at the park, games, activities, a volunteer chef, someone to bring plates, utensils, Kool Aid, condiments and whatever else we haven't thought of yet.
As to the weather, we'll just have to watch and see. No hurricanes are expected.
