Join us for the World Wide Flash Mob Event

Saturday, June 7th 2014, 1:00PM Sharp !

Win this year's 2014 WWFM XI Geocoin shown above!

Sonny and Sandy of the PodCacher podcast came up with the WWFM idea in 2007 after attending a mega-event. It was meant to be an “opposite” of a mega-event: all the cool aspects of a geocaching event, crammed into 15 minutes of excitement. An added dimension is represented by the letters "WW" - World Wide - these events occur across the planet on the same day at (mostly) the same time! These caching events are intended to bring geocachers together in a creative way, as well as introduce "newbies" to the hobby.

This event will return to the original intentions of a Flash Mob! If you're spotted prior to 12:55 no coin drawing for you! GZ is in the middle of an open field with plenty of places to hide prior to the event. A Go-Pro camera will begin recording at 12:55 PM to record the "FLASH"

Stats for WWFM X Events last year (2013) 558 events in 42 countries, attended by 25,125 people!!!

12:45 P.M. Arrive and hide in the general area avoiding GZ.
1:00 P.M. Precisely, gather for a picture at GZ
1:05 P.M. Enter your name in the log for the drawing of the coin
1:15 P.M. Name the winner of the WWFM XI Geocoin
1:20 P.M. Event concluded go caching!
