A small plastic bottle with a pin for FTF, a logsheet and a pencil. PLEASE, after the pin is taken, do not make any further trades; too much weight might damage the hiding spot. Thanks! {126/112}

While hiking in the Ahmanson Ranch area with Let's Fly, we saw a nice tree that looked to be a great place to hide a cache. Unfortunately, there were problems that made it ill-suited for that purpose, but another one nearby turned out to have a couple of great hiding spots. One of them was too awkward for most cachers, but the other should be OK for almost everyone. Please note the way that it is hidden and replace it and the covering material exactly, so that it remains hidden. Thank you!

BTW: Chester is the name of the border collie-mix of Let's Fly. He accompanied us on our trek, and was very interested in this spot, so we decided to name it for him. Good boy

My cache in the area needed maintenance so I came out with Mountain Cat and Majorjarhead to repair it and to grab some caches on the loop to Victory Blvd. Quick find. TFTC

After a DNF on the trailhead cache, I was hoping to redeem myself with a quick find here. Well, after a rather frustrating search, I was just about to give up when I spied the container lying in the grass right next to the trail. Presuming that to NOT be the intended location, but not having any idea where it should have been, I re-hid it in a somewhat less visible location. Jim and/or Sharon, you might want to swing by and put it back in its intended location at some point...but it should be safe for now. Thanks!
