This cache will appeal to those looking for a more challenging hunt while staying close to civilization. The cache lies at an altitude of 4953ft.
This cache puts the "I" back in team. It can be reached by foot from the bottom or by some form of floatation device from above. To reach it by foot, start from the park at the mouth of logan canyon and head up the trail on the north side of the highway until you find water and follow your gps from there. On a hot summer day try this variation. Drive up logan canyon a few miles until you see a dirt "pull off" on the north side of the road that has a small culvert emerging from under it. Start there and float until your gps tells you you have passed it. It is a small hike from there. I believe you can hike from the pull off as well but I have never done it. This water is very cold so if you plan to float or walk in the water, come prepared. Don't be afraid to move a few rocks as it is not in plain sight. The original items include log book, several millenium edition tyconderoga pencils, a sound track from the award winning 1986 inspirational series Free to Choose, polished pink rock, some foreign coins, and an army man for good measure.
