Mirror rim Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

cervisvenator: Hi

While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If the owner wants it reopened, send me an e-mail and I’ll be happy to unarchive the cache listing if it still satisfies the requirement/guidelines.

(This reviewer note is in English so non-Norwegian cache owners, geocachers and cache reviewers can understand what it says.)

Thanks for your understanding,
Cervis Venator

Geocache Description:

Mirror

In the mirror you can see yourself, but not quite. The mirror image is reversed. You may also imagine that the personality of your mirror image is reversed. Perhaps the person in the mirror is an evil twin?

Symmetry

Some objects are identical to their mirror images. We say they are symmetrical. Many believe that symmetrical objects have an inner harmony, and value them for this.

Not only objects can be symmetrical. Numbers, words and sentences may have symmetry. If we get the same results whether we read from right or left, we call it a palindrome. Some examples of palindromic words: radar, level, kayak and racecar.

For palindromic sentences, punctuation, capitalization, and spacing are usually ignored. Some famous palindromes:

  • Madam, I'm Adam (The first words Adam said to Eve?)
  • A man, a plan, a canal, Panama! (about the building of the Panama canal)

The cache

You can't hide a cache at the listed coordinates. (Unless the cache description says boat or scuba gear required, and the terrain rating is set to 5 stars.) If you have understood the point behind the text above, you should be able to find the box in a place that is not too far away.

Speil

Symmetri

For eksempel:

  • returruter
  • rokokkokor
  • sølekakeløs
  • irettesetteri
  • russerdressur

Eksempler:

  • Agnes i senga.
