I C I-5 & 119 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Marko Ramius: Since there does not appear to have been any response to the logs posted to this cache page, I can only assume that the cache owner is either MIA or is not willing or able to perform normal maintenance on this listing. Accordingly, I am archiving the listing to remove it from search pages and to allow for new caches in this area. If you would like to correct the issues for this cache, you can either create a new cache page or send me an e-mail with the GCxxxx code for this cache listing and I will un-archive it and review it again.

Thank you for your understanding and for your contributions to Geocaching.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This is a nano cache. The terrain is flat and level, the only reason for it being rated a 3.5 on difficulty is because of the physical size of the container. A wheel chair can get to the location, but will have to be able to stand and reach to get the cache.

Nothing special about the cache location, other than it could be the start of a quick cache loop for travelers with a RV or big rig. This is the first cache on this side of I-5 close to the off ramp. There is a large turnaround area for RVs near the cache. This is one of the off ramps used to access Buena Vista recreation area and soon to get to the new racetrack that is a replacement for Mesa Marin, scheduled to open in 2008.

There are two on/off ramps for I-5 to make it easy to do some caching and return to I-5 from either direction. There are ten caches within about a one-mile radius. All of the caches have an area suitable for parking RV’s within a short distance of the cache.

Hidden in plain sight, but harder for the vertically challenged. Bring your own pen and bringing an extraction device (tweezers) is advisable.
