Pity the poor post-person who delivers the mail to Picketpost
Mountain! There is a mailbox at the summit, complete with logbook
for hikers (not just geocachers).
Your quest: Help out the mail carrier out by reporting the
"forwarding" name and address (of the former mailbox owner -- found
on a special plaque in/on the mailbox) to receive credit for this
cache. Return the information to the sender (me!) by emailing the
information to rayhiker@hotmail.com before posting a log on the
web.
Don't forget to sign the logbook in the postbox. Please note
that this cache is shared with non-cachers -- so please don't
exchange anything (nothing is there to take and there is no
geocaching note), just sign the logbook.
When I was there, a little U.S. flag on a flagpole was visible
at a nearby point on the plateau of Picketpost Mountain. (An
interesting little side hike).
