Geocache Description:

Park at N 52-28.511 W 113-44.071 - Trail goes completely around the lake. You will have to decide which direction to start, but once you have found the cache, you might as well finish the trip around.

Trail is mostly paved, but hunters will have to leave the paved trail to get to cache. Dog's are allowed on leash. Bring a frisbee if it is summer and play a round of disk golf starting around N 52-28.348 W 113-44.631. Or have a picnic, there are tables near the parking. If it is winter, you can skate on the lake, or slide down the toboggan hill.

Lacombe is a short distance off of highway 2 and makes a great stop for travellers between Edmonton and Calgary to stretch their legs.

Container is smaller than some traditional caches, but not small enough to call a micro.

Please be extra careful to replace this one well hidden since there is a lot of muggle traffic in this area. - Thanks!

The mystery of the original container has been solved. I spent some time searching around for signs of it one day, and found some pages of the log book, including an entry which read... "I found your stash !, it is in the lake now - ha ha ha ha." So we know what happened to it. I went wading around the shore with my fly fishing waders on, but was unable to locate the original cache container. Oh well, at least we know what happened.
