The Leprechauns: The cache has been removed for the reasons stated in my note from April. When we went to pick it up, Little Lep (who had not visited this cache before) said "I can't believe you hid this. It is an embarrassment for The Leprechauns to hide a cache this lame."

Sometimes we need to listen to our kids, for they are wise in many ways.

Geocache Description:

Drive, paddle or swim to Neville Island to hunt for this log-only microcache. Clench a pencil or pen in your teeth if you swim for it... you will need it.

We have wanted to place a cache on Neville Island for quite some time. We scouted from one end of the island to the other. Its eastern end is industrial sites, its middle is residential and commercial except for one small playground, and its western end is a private sports complex, including our favorite miniature golf course. Head for the golf course. Getting there is most of the fun. Once you figure out the navigation, the cache should be an easy find except that stealth will definitely be required, especially during the summer months. If it's open, take a few extra minutes to play a round of mini golf.
