This cache is relatively easy to get to (but I highly recommend
you don't take young children unless harnessed to a focused adult).
This is semi-wilderness so everyone must think/act predictably.
Please do not endanger yourself while hunting this. If you are
correctly locating the cache, you will feel safe! (Don’t hang over
or reach over cliffs, please!) One more warning, don’t even go
after this if there is snow, as the level changes to a 6/6 (and 5/5
is the max).
Take something to write with and TAKE A CAMERA! You’ll kick
yourself if you capture some pictures of your adventure as there
are three lakes and miles of wilderness that you can see from the
cache area. Water is ok to take too. The micro cache is in plain
sight and a full roll of quarters could fit in it if it was empty
so only bring small items. No ropes are needed... again, if you
feel unsafe, you're doing it wrong.
Start in the parking lot. Stay on the trail which leaves the
lake at N38 28.625, W119 59.570. The coordinates were taken above
the cache with a +/- 10.5 feet using nine satellites (all full
strength!) and the cache altitude corrected to 7753.
The cache has been replaced and slightly relocated. It's much
more likely to be found by a cache and hopefully safer from
muggles. It's in plain sight if you're standing at the correct
location.
Once the cache has been found, please notice how to replace it
BEFORE you take it! Log only your cacher name and the date. In the
cache, you will find a Geo-note, log sheets, Digifish #1432,
Checker'd Personal Coin (for trade), and a Marble.
Be safe and have a wonderful trip.

WINTER INSTRUCTIONS:
Look before you go... if the pass isn't open,
the cache isn't reachable. Even then, the road could be clear when
the cache is still covered in snow. At a minimum, make sure you can
drive there (via Hwy 4). Click HERE for current Road
Report.
