Geocache Description:

This cache is just inside Keizer Rapids Park. Observe the park's hours of sunrise to sunset as neighbors here are likely to call the police otherwise.

I set this up last September on that huge fallen tree close to the river with the big dried roots. It got turned down as being too close to another cache and I never got back to pick it up with the downturn in the weather. I went back last week and it was still there-dry as can be still containing the FTF $2. So I moved it to another spot and got the location approved. Bring your own pen.

This is a celestial themed cache as the container is a black telescope lens case (which is smaller than a film canister). The location can be a good one for watching the skies. The coordinates were quite jumpy here with the tree cover. I was really amazed how they changed despite sitting there quite a while.Took more than one reading so they should be accurate.

The only climbing involved here is up and down the slope from the trail near the cache location. You may hear the honking of the ducks and geese or see the emu nearby. This is probably a decent fishing spot too. You will be fishing for this one. Hope you "cache" it.
