Los Angeles' Painted
Ladies
Once
upon a time, there was a Locationless Cache home-based in this
neighborhood. The locationless caches became Waypoints and
were moved out of Geocaching. A real, physical nanocache is
now located in this interesting neighborhood.
Carroll
Avenue was the first suburb of Los Angeles and is located on the
crest of Angelino Heights overlooking downtown Los Angeles. A
real estate boom in 1887 saw the construction of numerous majestic
Victorian homes in the new neighborhood. The entire 1300
Block of Carroll Avenue is listed on the National Register of
Historic Places.
Come
by, find the cache, and then visit a color part of Los Angeles'
past.
