Geocache Description:

This will take you on a short historic trip around Chievres AB. Be sure to visit the museum if it is open.

The coordinates will take you to the round about where you will need to start. There is nothing to be found at the above coordinates.
You have received some military intelligence. Your job is to interrupt aerial photographs and find clues to help find nearby enemies supply cache.

The white circles on the main picture are the locations of hints for the final cache. You will need a copy of the pictures to complete your assignment. Each of the pictures are a close up of the area were the hint is. You will need to print out the pictures to aid you in the search.

The Seven pictures are:
Aerial Photograph
A Bunker
A Gate
A Cemetery
An Intersection
A Barn
A Field
The Aerial photograph will get you in the general area. Once there follow these clues
At the Bunker you will need to find a soldiers lost dog tag. It will give you the information you need. There are many bunkers similar to this one in the area. They were used to defend the Air Base and near by Daume Marie Casern.

At the Gate you are looking for the first digit of the gate number. During WWII a couple of young women posing as tourist were arrested in this area. Even through brutal interrogation they did not let on that they were part of the resistance. Do not let yourself get caught like them.

At the Cemetery you will need to find the 9 graves pictured and note what the date of death was for these brave men. May they live in our heart and minds forever, so as that their death was not in vain. “C” May 1944

At this intersection count the number of villages missing on the picture. This will be the value of the last letter of the last village that's missing. Beneath this small square lies a large fuel tank that got caught between the buildings as the Germans were trying to move it. It is now buried under the road.

Near the Barn you will need to find another dog tag. As you approach this area and search for the dog tag you must take note of the surrounding buildings. The roofs have been cut off so that heavy bombers would have enough clearance to takeoff.

Just outside the town of Bauffe you need to find the last of the dog tags. Take note that you do not have to search the surrounding fields. Towards the end of the war a U.S. bomber crashed in the nearby fields on its way back from a bombing mission in Germany. Take heed of this warning they were almost home and never lived to tell the tale. You may think you are close to being finished with this mission do not let complacency kill you.

Once you have recovered all of the data, finish the coordinates and go to the Supply stash.
