Suivre le chemin de terre qui part au sud-est
à coté du parking.
Le 12 juillet 1857, a eu lieu, ici même
l’inauguration du Canal de Carpentras, en présence de
l’empereur Napoléon III et de l’ impératrice
Eugénie.
Trois ans de construction, 24,50 m de haut,
159,20 m de long, 13 arches, le plus grand ouvrage aérien du
canal.
