Geocache Description:

This is the son of Dale Carrot, who after a landscaping accident has gone to a better place. Dale Jr is also in a better place and looks a lot like his Dad, who was also a carrot. The cache is designed to be pretty quick and easy to find. The tree here is a bur oak, and I think the only one in the area of this park.

Find more Fayette County Caches!
The basic Official Geocaching App shows only the caches that are very easy. But there are more caches in this park, they're “Advanced” (shown as grey circles in The App), but as a Basic Member, you can find and log them. Using a web browser, you may visit the Geocaching.com web site and make a note of cache coordinate “Waypoints”. These Advanced caches are a little tougher to find. So when you're ready for the next level, try this in the Official Geocaching App:

While "navigating" to any cache, you can add a new waypoint to any coordinates you see on Geocaching.com, and go. Check that cache size and the Terrain and Difficulty rating to be sure you're prepared. Watch out, it could become a real adventure!
