Bases N Bluffs is a 5 part multi-cache (3 bases and 2 bluffs) Terrain rating of 4 - Experienced outdoor enthusiasts only. Terrain has some very steep elevation (requiring use of hands). Difficulty rating of 3. - Challenging. An experienced cache hunter will find this challenging, and it could take up a good portion of an afternoon. It is designed to be one of the most challenging geocaching adventures for miles around.
* This adventure takes place on public property with marked public trails, but it is still a challenge that many (even of those living here their whole lives) WILL NOT DO. * There are "best way" suggestions along the way and many have gone these suggested routes safely. Blazing a different trail could be very dangerous, even deadly. * Keep in mind when climbing: Where you climb up, you must also climb down. * Allow at least about 2 hours to complete, but it may take much longer. * DO GO AHEAD and TRY!! At any point, its never too late to turn back. * You may log ANY STAGE of your progress to this page, and if you go back and get further, log it again. ***** PLEASE ****** rehide each of the stages EXACTLY as you found them to preserve the adventure from geo-muggles and preserve the challenge for your fellow geocachers.
