A Carry on Moment: How is your Stream? Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to my note I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to contact me about this cache please use my Email address below my signature and quote the GC number of the cache. Please note this system is not infallible and I may miss any such mail.

Many thanks,

Geocache Description:

A 35mm cache (replaces a Nano) at the start of a wonderful woodland walk along a fast following stream.

This is No.3 in my Carry On Series. The deep valley is home to a fast flowing stream.

Part of Kirklees Way this woodland path will also take you to the nearby cache of "Tony the Box" to the south. In winter following snow this woodland walk is enchanting!.

The Hepworth Church is very pretty and is one of the sites on the "Last of the Summerwine Coach Tour" which passes regularly around this steep bend - you maybe lucky to see the old coach if you hang around. The Butchers Arms beyond the Church is also worth the steep walk up the hill to the East for lunch or a nice pint.

My caches up the other hill to the West in Scholes are also worth a trip. I am quite lazy so my caches are normally quick and easy.
