You park at the White Pine trail head just two miles before you get to snowbird. Go towards Red Pine but where it splits then go to Lone Peak. Elevation starts at 7779 ft. ends at 9720 ft.

The container is an amo box with a pen, paper, monkey, flash light, measuring tape, car.

I have hiked into Maybird on several occasions, but today was my first time as a cacher. I love this area and I am especially fond of the massive mountain peak to the south of these lakes. Thanks for bringing me to this area today to find your cache. It is in a great spot and very well done! I left a gold dollar coin. SL, TFTC!

Nice one! Found today as we took some friends up to Maybird for the first time. It is hidden very well but we found without the hint. Left the guinea pig TB although it's hardly farther south than where I picked him up. Somebody will have to move him along before winter as guinea pigs don't do well in snow. TFTC!

Found the cache. Went on a weekday and there was no one around. I did make a mistake and missed the trail towards Lost Peak and ended up up Red Pine Lake. Don't know how I did this. Must have been daydreaming. So the trip was about an 1/2 to 1 mile longer after I corrected my mistake. Well worth the trip. Lost Peak is a beautiful location. Wish I could have spent more time there.
