Another cache in the city of Munich. It's easy reachable as people might want to bring electronic devices with them...

This is a special new kind of cache. Even though it's a physical cache lying around, the real content is somewhat virtual. All the cache contains is a CompactFlash card (and of course a small logbook and a pen, so basically it's a normal geocache).
The idea is, that a visitors brings his CompactFlash capable devices to the cache (for example a digital camera or a notebook with compact flash adapter or a PDA...) and leaves digital content on the card, like a photo of himself, a funny MP3 file he brought, whatever. There's also an ASCII logbook on the card to which you can add a longer log entry than on the paperlog.
As not everybody has CompactFlash devices and not all digital cameras will show you the pictures created by other cameras (and not everybody wants to carry his notebook to the cache), I'll visit the cache from time to time and backup the CompactFlash card (also it's only 8MB, so I'll have to delete something from time to time I expect). I'll put everything left behind on the card onto the web page:

which is password protected. Username and password are given in the cache, so you've actually to visit the cache to access the page, and even without a CompactFlash device you can at least see what others left behind.

Dies ist eine neue Art von Cache. Obwohl es sich um ein reales Objekt das in der Landschaft liegt handelt, ist der eigentliche Inhalt virtuell. Das einzige was der Cache (neben einem kleinen Logbuch und einem Stift) enthaelt ist eine CompactFlash Speicherkarte.
Die Idee ist, dass Besucher CompactFlash faehige Geraete mitbringen (wie eine Digitalkamera, einen Notebook mit Adapter oder einen PDA) und digitalen Inhalt im Cache zuruecklassen. Zum Beispiel ein Photo von sich selbst beim Cache, eine witzige MP3 Datei, irgendsowas. Es gibt auch ein ASCII Logbuch auf der Karte in das man einen ausfuehrlicheren Eintrag schreiben kann als auf das im Cache liegende Papier.
Da nicht jeder CompactFlash faehige Hardware besitzt und auch nicht alle Kameras die von anderen Kameras aufgenommenen Bilder anzeigen wuerden (es will ja nicht jeder einen Notebook mitschleppen) werde ich den Cache von Zeit zu Zeit besuchen und die CompactFlash Karte kopieren (sie ist auch nur 8BM gross so dass ich auch manchmal etwas loeschen werde). Alles was ich auslese werde ich auf eine Webseite:

stellen, die mit einem Passwort geschuetzt ist. Username und Passwort stehen im Cache, so dass man den Cache auch wirklich besuchen muss um den Inhalt zu sehen, und so auch Besucher die keine passenden Geraete haben etwas von ihrem Besuch beim Cache haben.
