Geocache Description:

Cache is located at the old Twin Craggs lookout tower.

This cache was placed while on a three day two night ATV ride. You can get to the cache site from various directions including the St. Joe river road,Cataldo,and Pinehurst(Pinecreek). If using the Pinecreek route, it can only be traveled by ATV, motorcycle, or foot. The old road is still there but very nasty. If you can find the new logging roads that cut into the area, you can use them to get to the old Pinecreek road but offroad travel means is still a must. This is a seriously seasonal cache as my GPS was giving readings of 6300' plus. I appoligize for the contents as there wasn't much room for trade items but the cache does have a few. There is a logbook and the most beautiful view I know of. Don't forget to visit Mirror Lake just over the hill and the old Palasades Mine over the opposite side. A word of caution. The last leg of the trip starting at the last switch back should be attempted on foot or ATV only as it is steep,narrow and very rocky. There is also very limited room to turn around at the top. Anyone have any history of the area? Hope you have as much fun finding as I had hiding. Enjoy!
