alarm Clock: [B)] I was planning to dump this cache. But I think it found out and decided to break up with me first. Oh well, so long, we can still be friends. Goodbye.

Geocache Description:

Make like the Situationist Internationale and explore Chicago the psychogeographic way.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Psychogeography research is carried through non-scientific methods such as the dérive,
aimless drifting through the city, trying to record the emotions given by a particular place;
and mental mapping, the production of mood-based maps.

 For this dérive, we’ll be using a generative algorithm to control our walk through the loop:

// Classic.walk
Repeat
{
1 st street left
2 nd street right
2 nd street left
}

.WALK and its related websites should be a good resource to help you better understand this process. However, it is pretty simple. Just walk straight, take the 1st street you can turn left on, walk straight, take the 2nd street you can turn right on, walk straight, take the 2nd street you can turn left on, and repeat.

START at the big black sculpture. Head East. Engage the algorithm. (Hint: the first move you make is left on Dearborn).

Run the algorithm 3 times. NOTE: Ignore all alleyways / passages / driveways, use and count only main roads.

This walk was automatically generated but is actually a decent walking tour of the loop and River North. It should only take 25 minutes or less.

When you finish your 3rd time through, pass the gold bars and turn left down the alley. Follow the wide railing on the left and find the cache just before 225.

Enjoy Psychogeocaching.
