Geocache Description:

A series dedicated to the many friends I've made through geocaching.

 OMR

If wanting to meet a geocacher who enjoys a good puzzle, then OMR is your man.

OMR's username reflects his designated moniker of Old Man River, given to him by his son. The Broadway tune, Ol' Man River also happens to be one of my favorites.

Aside from challenging puzzles and a delicious Idaho baked potato, he enjoys a nice ammunition can in the woods.

You won't often see OMR at any of the following ground zeros:

You may, however, see him hiking, biking or geocaching in the various parks surrounding Lewisville Lake. If you see a crazed man swinging a machete through the brush you'll know it's OMR...hopefully it's him.

OMR's mind seeks pursuits of the engineering pursuassion...perhaps it's what makes him such a good puzzle solver. These talents can be seen in his finely engineered geocaches...hides with cleanly stenciled paint jobs, laminated stash notes, nice log books and sturdy containers. For an example of his fine work, check out any of the geocaches in his popular Trail to Insanity series in Denton's Fish Trap Park.

Ground zero coordinates are in this musical passage.
