The cache container is a camoed bison tube. Bring something to sign the log. You will need a tool to remove the log from the cache. Please make sure the log is secure in its container when you return it.
Greensburg, PA is located in Westmoreland County 30 miles east of Pittsburgh, PA. History records the first building in Greensburg was an Inn built along a wagon road that stretched from Philadelphia to Fort Pitt. A small settlement of Newtown grew around the Inn. Today that spot is the intersection of Pittsburgh and Main Streets. Hannastown, the original county seat in Westmoreland County, was destroyed by a fire in 1782 in a raid by Seneca Indians and Canadian Rangers. The county seat was moved to Newtown in 1785 where a log courthouse was built. In 1799 it was renamed Greensburg after Revolutionary War General Nathanael Green. Modern day Greensburg has a population of nearly 16,000 residents and approximately 57,000 reside in the Greater Greensburg Area. Greensburg is home to Seton Hill University.
