Geocache Description:

Park at Bracebridge Resource Management Centre, located north of the Muskoka River (N.Branch) and north of High Falls/Hwy 117 by 2.5 km, east side on Highway 11. Donation forms and trail maps are at the parking lot. This is a popular area for cross-country skiing/ snowshoeing/ biking/ hiking. The cache is also accessible by canoe from High Falls (2 1/2 hrs. return). Take time to enjoy all the trails, especially those along the river.

Follow Trail 1 (1.8 km round trip loop with the Duck Chutes Viewing Area as a side loop). Duck Chutes is a rapids at the other side of this sandy bay on the Muskoka River. If you are lucky, you may find a fox in the area.

The cache is an ammo box not far from the well-maintained, usually dry trail.
